On the occasion of the College's Golden Jubilee, the College of Law intends to hold the first introductory meeting entitled "The Future of Graduates of the English Language Law Program" on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at 10:00 AM, in the discussion hall of the administrative building.

On Saturday, September 6, Assiut University hosted a grand graduation ceremony for the 47th batch of students from the Faculty of Law. The ceremony was held under the patronage of Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of the University, and under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Abdel Mawla, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; Dr. Douib Hussein Saber, Dean of the Faculty and Legal Advisor to the President of the University; and Dr. Ragab Mohamed El-Kahlawy, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs.

The ceremony was attended by Dr. Moamer Rateb, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; Dr. Ahmed Soliman Abdel Rady, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research;

Dr. Mohamed Abdel Aleem El-Hammamy, Director of the English Language Program; Dr. Ashraf Gaballah, Director of Youth Welfare; Professor Emad Ramadan, Secretary General of the Faculty; and Professor Hossam El-Hafnawy, Director of Public Relations. The ceremony was also attended by department heads, faculty members, administrative leaders, and staff from the Faculty and the University.

Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, President of Assiut University, congratulated the 47th batch of students from the Faculty of Law and their parents, emphasizing that this day represents the culmination of their combined efforts throughout their years of study. He praised the support and care provided by the parents, as well as the knowledge and guidance provided by the faculty's professors, in preparing a new generation of legal professionals capable of serving the nation and upholding the values ​​of justice.

In his speech, Dr. Ahmed Abdel Mawla congratulated the graduates and their families, praising the efforts of the faculty's professors who have clearly supported their students with knowledge and guidance until they graduated. He wished them a future filled with success and the highest positions in service to the nation.

Dr. Douib Hussein Saber also expressed his sincere congratulations to the faculty's professors, graduates, and their parents, emphasizing that the graduates must uphold the banner of justice and practice their profession with precision and mastery, based on the fact that the rule of law is a fundamental pillar of security, stability, and progress. He emphasized that the faculty continues to develop its academic, research, and cultural capabilities. He extended his thanks to the university administration, headed by Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, for their continued support of the college, and to all the guests at the ceremony who shared the students' joy.

In his speech, Dr. Ragab Mohamed El-Kahlawy expressed his pride and happiness in sharing this pivotal moment in his graduates' academic journey. He emphasized that their graduation from a prestigious university like Assiut University represents the beginning of a new phase of challenges and successes. He extended his thanks to the university administration, the college administration, and its staff for their supportive efforts.

Graduate Sayed Hassan Sayed, the top graduate of the class, and graduate Ahmed Essam Kamal, president of the college's Student Union, also delivered speeches expressing their gratitude to the university and college administration for the financial and moral support they provided throughout their years of study. They also extended their thanks and gratitude to the parents for their constant support of their children until graduation day.

The ceremony included a distinguished artistic performance by the "Sahar Al Janoub" choir, led by maestro Nasr El Din Ahmed. The event concluded with the honoring of the graduates and the presentation of certificates of appreciation. The college shield was also presented to Professor Dr. Ahmed El Menshawy, President of the University, and Dr. Ahmed Abdel Mawla, Vice President of the University.

Under the patronage of Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of Assiut University, the Faculty of Law hosted the advanced training course for members of the Administrative Prosecution Office in Assiut Governorate. The course, titled "Investigation and Disposition Mechanisms," was held from September 1 to 3, with the participation of 50 members of the Administrative Prosecution Office, ranging from assistant prosecutors to "excellent" prosecutors. The training course was hosted by Dr. Douib Hussein Saber, Professor of Public Law and Dean of the Faculty of Law at Assiut University, and Dr. Ragab El-Kahlawy, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Law for Education and Student Affairs.

Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of Assiut University, stated that the Faculty of Law's hosting of the advanced training course for members of the Administrative Prosecution Office falls within the framework of the university's societal role and its commitment to supporting cooperation with various judicial bodies. He praised the fruitful cooperation with the Administrative Prosecution Office, which plays a major role in establishing the principles of truth, justice, and the preservation of public funds.

Dr. El-Minshawy emphasized that the university spares no effort in providing an integrated training and academic environment that keeps pace with the requirements of national institutions and contributes to the preparation and qualification of cadres capable of serving the nation. He explained that such training courses reflect the complementary roles of state institutions in promoting the values ​​of integrity and transparency and achieving prompt justice.

The course was organized under the patronage of Counselor Mohamed El-Shenawy, Head of the Administrative Prosecution Authority, and was implemented by the Judicial Training Center, headed by Counselor Dr. Ayman Nabil, in cooperation with the Administrative Prosecution Consultants Club in Assiut, headed by Counselor Abdel-Wahab Nagati.

This course is part of a series of training courses held across all governorates of the Republic, presented by a select group of consultants with the aim of enhancing members' capabilities in the fields of investigation and disposition, and dealing with the most prominent practical problems they may encounter in the exercise of their judicial work. This is achieved by reviewing case studies and practical applications.

Dr. Douib Saber commended the role of the Administrative Prosecution Authority in establishing truth and justice through a well-thought-out strategy to combat financial and administrative corruption faced by the state and all its national institutions. He emphasized that the Faculty of Law is keen to consolidate ongoing cooperation with the Authority in various fields in support of this noble goal.

At the conclusion of the course, Counselor Dr. Ayman Nabil, Director of the Judicial Training Center, extended his sincere thanks to the administration of Assiut University and the Faculty of Law for their generous hospitality and support, which contributed to the success of the course. He praised the fruitful cooperation that was reflected in its distinguished organization. He also extended his appreciation to all those who contributed to the course's success, most notably Counselor Bahi El-Din Mohamed Ali Hassan, Member of the Supreme Council of the Administrative Prosecution and Director of the Disciplinary Litigation Department; Counselor Hesham Kamal Qutb, Deputy Director of the Judicial Training Center; Counselor Abdel Wahab Nagati, Director of the Technical Office in Assiut and President of the Administrative Prosecution Consultants Club in Assiut; and members of the club's board of directors; as well as Counselor Khaled Bakhit, Director of the Disciplinary Litigation Branch in Assiut. He also commended the efforts of the lecturers and their role in enriching the course content. It's worth noting that the course included lectures delivered by a select group of consultants, including: Counselor Dr. Mohamed El-Husseini, Counselor Abdel-Jalil Mohamed, Counselor Khaled Tantawi, Counselor Yasser Lotfy, Counselor Khaled Bakhit, Counselor Alaa Bahi, Counselor Hala Metwally, and Counselor Dr. Moataz El-Hilali.

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Mawla, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Douib Hussein Saber, Dean of the Faculty of Law, and Prof. Dr. Ragab Mohamed El-Kahlawy, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ragab Mohamed El-Kahlawy and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Aleem El-Hamami, Director of the English Language Law Program, inspected the new student reception camp for English Language Law Program students and Arabic Language Law students to ensure the availability of all services that contribute to the comfort of students and facilitate the beginning of their university life. They also provided clear information about the basic services that students need during their studies.

The Legal Studies Center for Community Service at the Faculty of Law concluded the 30-hour course on Practical Aspects of Legal Drafting. The Center's administration thanked the course's lecturers for their efforts in honing the trainees' skills in the principles and arts of legal drafting. The course featured a distinguished group of lecturers, including faculty professors, members of judicial bodies and agencies, and lawyers. The Center's administration announces the reconvening of this course, given its importance and the desire of many trainees to complete it.
