Dr. Dwaib Hussein Saber, Dean of the College, the Deans of the College, and the distinguished faculty members, mourn with great sadness Dr. Ahmed Fathi Sorour, the former Minister of Education, praying to the Lord - the Almighty - to cover him with His vast mercy, to dwell him in His spacious gardens, and to inspire his family with patience and solace.

Dr. Sorour is considered a symbol of the law, with a distinguished judicial, legal, diplomatic, executive, parliamentary and professional history, both internally and internationally. He held many positions, including the presidency of the People’s Assembly, the deanship of the Faculty of Law, the position of Vice President of Cairo University, and the presidency of the Criminal Law Department at the Faculty of Law, Cairo University. He also served as President of the Egyptian Society for Economics, Statistics and Legislation, President of the Egyptian Society for Criminal Law, and many other positions. Important legal, judicial, diplomatic, parliamentary and executive functions.

Under the patronage of Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of Assiut University, the Faculty of Law participated in the Ramadan Football Tournament for faculty members, which was organized by the University’s Faculty of Physical Education. During the period from April 2 to 4, in the presence of the vice presidents of the university, the general supervisor of student activities, a group of college deans, deputies, faculty members, and a group of representatives of youth and sports institutions in Assiut, and students, and with the participation of (16) teams from various university colleges. .

Dr. Ahmed Al-Minshawy explained: Assiut University is keen to pay attention to all sports and physical activities, enhance the sporting aspect of students, and qualify and select the best student elements. To train and prepare them for local and international sports tournaments, within the framework of the university’s mission; To advance students, support them, and encourage them to adopt a healthy lifestyle, and build a healthy generation in various physical, intellectual, scientific, and research aspects; This contributes to supporting the university’s position locally, internationally, and globally, noting that sports are a requirement of the spirit and mind, and help enhance positive energy within the souls of students.

We witnessed the conclusion of the session honoring the President of Assiut University; The College of Law is represented by Mr. Prof. Dr. Dwaib Hussein Saber, Dean of the College, and Mr. Prof. Dr. Rajab Al-Kahlawi, Vice Dean of the College for Education and Student Affairs.

Mr. Prof. Dwaib Hussein Saber also extended his sincere congratulations to the winning teams. Praising the outstanding sports performance and wonderful behavior; To all participating teams, he also appreciated the efforts of those organizing the Ramadan session; It is considered one of the important sports activities at the university, which is held every year, under the supervision of the College of Physical Education, and which aims to enhance teamwork, develop the spirit of fair competition among the participating teams, and uphold sports values and ethics based on; Integrity, sportsmanship, discipline, and cooperation.

Under the patronage of Mr. Dr. Ahmed Al-Minshawy, President of the University, and Prof. Dr.. Mahmoud Abdel Aleem, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Prof. Dr.. Dwaib Hussein Saber, Dean of the College, Mr. Prof. Muammar Ratib, Vice Dean of the College for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Mr. Prof. Dr. Rajab Al-Kahlawi, Vice Dean of the College for Education and Student Affairs. The College organized a symposium on healthy nutrition in the month of Ramadan, in which Dr. Saad Zaki, Vice Dean of the College of Medicine for Community Service Affairs, lectured. and Environmental Development, and Dr. Medhat Arabi Khalil, Director of the Youth Health Center.

The symposium discussed the most important nutritional and medical advice, and the most common malnutrition diseases among the university’s student community. The symposium also witnessed the presence of A. Dr.. Othman Abdel Qader, Professor and Head of the Civil Procedure Law Department, Professor Imad Ramadan, Secretary of the College, and a number of distinguished faculty members, students, and employees. The symposium was presented by Professor Hossam Hafnawi, Director of Public Relations at the College.
