In a spirit of love, brotherhood, and national unity, Professor Dr. Dweib Hussein Saber, Dean of the Faculty of Law, Professor of Public Law, and Legal Advisor to the University President; Professor Dr. Ragab El-Kahlawy, Professor and Head of the Department of Public Law and Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; Professor Dr. Moamar Rateeb, Professor of Public International Law and Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; Professor Dr. Ahmed Suleiman, Professor of Public Law and Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research; Professor Dr. Kilani Abdel-Radi Mahmoud, Professor of Commercial Law; and Dr. Mariam Abdel-Malik El-Qoms, Lecturer of Civil Procedure Law, met with their Coptic colleagues from the Faculty to offer their congratulations on the occasion of Christmas.

Dr. Dweib Hussein Saber expressed that the entire Faculty of Law extends its warmest congratulations and best wishes for a prosperous New Year, emphasizing that the unity of the nation's people and the cohesion of its social fabric are the cornerstones of societal stability and support for progress and development.

Dr. Ragab El-Kahlawy affirmed that Egypt will always remain a unique model of coexistence and love among all its citizens.

As part of the college administration's commitment to ensuring the smooth conduct of examinations, the Dean inspected the third-year examinations this morning, Sunday, January 11, 2026. He ensured the stability of the undergraduate examinations, the clarity of the questions and their compliance with the basic requirements, the orderliness of the examination committees, and the provision of a suitable environment for students to perform well.

The Dean was accompanied on this tour by Dr. Ragab Mohamed El-Sayed, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, who confirmed his daily monitoring of all undergraduate examinations. Also accompanying the Dean were Dr. Fouad Mohamed Moussa, Head of the Examination Control, and Dr. Anwar Mattawa, a member of the Examination Control Committee.

Assiut University witnesses the launch of the specialized training course for scout leaders in the field of aerial culture.

Assiut University Launches Specialized Training Course for Rover Scout Leaders in Aviation Culture

Under the patronage of Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of Assiut University, the university launched a specialized training course for Rover Scout leaders in aviation culture. The course, organized by the General Administration for Student Welfare – Rover Scout and Public Service Department, in cooperation with the Assiut Aviation Club, the Egyptian Air Scouts Association, and the university's Faculty of Law, took place on November 3rd and 4th.

The event was held under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Mawla, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Madiha Darwish, General Supervisor of Student Activities, and Dr. Doueib Saber, Dean of the Faculty of Law.

The session was attended by a number of university and scouting leaders, including: Dr. Ragab El-Kahlawy, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Law for Education and Student Affairs; Dr. Haitham Ibrahim, Director General of the General Administration for Student Welfare; Dr. Nadi Abdel-Karim, President of the Assiut Aviation Club; Commander Hatem Ali Maher, President of the Central Association of Air Scouts; Dr. Ashraf Gaballah, Director of the Student Welfare Department at the Faculty of Law; Dr. Omar Abdel-Hamid, Director of the Rover Scouts Department; as well as Commissioner General Commander Gamal Ramah and Training Commissioner Commander Hani Abdel-Hakim.

Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawy emphasized that organizing the specialized session for Rover Scout leaders in the field of air culture comes within the framework of the university's commitment to supporting and encouraging student activities, considering them an essential part of building the university personality. He explained that the university is not limited to being an educational institution, but is an integrated environment that contributes to developing students' skills and enhancing their leadership, belonging, and sense of responsibility.

The university president indicated that this course aims to develop technical and cognitive skills in aviation and aerial culture, and to broaden the scouts' horizons through practical training and field application, thereby enhancing students' awareness and their ability to innovate and actively participate in community service.

The president added that Assiut University gives special attention to scouting and scout programs because of the opportunities they provide for honing skills and developing teamwork and volunteerism. He emphasized the university's continued support for such high-quality activities that open new horizons for young people and qualify them to be effective leaders in their country's future.

Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Mawla explained that the specialized course for scout leaders in aerial culture is one of the distinguished training programs that aims to develop scouts' skills in aviation and aerial cooperation, enabling them to participate effectively in organizing major events and gatherings.

Dr. Dweib Saber pointed out that the course aims to develop advanced scouting skills among scouts, qualify them to participate in organizing various events, and raise the efficiency of scout teams to keep pace with modern developments.

In his address, Dr. Nadi Abdul Karim explained that the course covered a variety of topics, most notably the history of aviation, types of aircraft, methods of design and construction, and the theory of flight, thus enriching the participants' technical knowledge.

The course concluded with the honoring of several participants in recognition of their contributions, as well as a number of scout leaders.
