The College of Law organizes a symposium on eradicating adult illiteracy between 
challenges and hoped-for reality.

of the University, and Dr. Mahmoud Abdel Aleem, Vice President of the University for 
Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Dwaib Hussein Saber, 
Dean of the Faculty of Law and Legal Advisor to the University President, 
and Prof. Dr. Muammar Ratib, Vice Dean of the College of Law for Community Service 
and Environmental Development Affairs, the College organized a symposium on 
the importance of eradicating illiteracy as one of the pillars of sustainable 
development. It is worth noting the participation of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Banna, 
Director of the Adult Education Center at the College of Education, 
and Dr. Marwa Al-Samman, Executive Director of the Centre.

The College of Law organizes a symposium entitled A New Beginning of Human Life.

Under the sponsorship Under the sponsorship of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Minshawy, President 
of the University, and Dr. Ahmed Abdel Mawla, Vice President of the University for 
Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Dwaib Hussein Saber, Dean of the Faculty 
f Law and Legal Advisor to the University President, and Prof. Dr. Rajab Muhammad Al-Sayed 
Al-Kahlawi, Vice Dean of the College for Education and Student Affairs, 
and Prof. Dr. Muammar Ratib, Vice Dean of the College of Law for Community Service 
and Environmental Development Affairs, the College organized a symposium entitled 
A New Beginning for Human Life. The symposium addressed the danger of drugs.

Especially for young people. The symposium will address the dangers of drugs 
and ways to recover from their clutches.

Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of Assiut University, issued: Resolution No. (3582); 
By restructuring the Board of Directors of the Arbitration Center, at the University’s 
College of Law, headed by Dr. Dwaib Hussein Saber, Dean of the College of Law, and in 
accordance with the decision; Appointment of Dr. Mohamed Refaat Abdel Halim, lecturer 
in the Civil Law Department at the College of Law; Director of the Center, until the 
end of the three-year period, issued by Resolution No. (3357) dated 11/5/2023 AD.

Dr. Al-Minshawi explained: The university’s arbitration center is one of the units of 
a special nature, which enjoys technical, administrative, and financial independence, 
and aims to provide a solid scientific base. To advance the fields of arbitration 
and amicable settlement of disputes at the level of Upper Egypt; The center represents 
a link between the College of Law and the community. By organizing many activities, 
events, courses, consultations, and other various services that can advance and develop 
society, Involving students and researchers in community interaction, and instilling 
in them the spirit of cooperation; To be more effective and serve; For their community, 
and their country.

The Board of Directors of the Arbitration Center at the Faculty of Law includes among 
its members: A group of legal cadres, namely: Counselor Abdel Razek Mahmoud Shuaib, 
Head of the State Lawsuits Authority, Captain Abdel Halim Allam, Head of the Bar Syndicate, 
President of the Arab Lawyers Union, Engineer Jihan Ahmed Ammar, Head of the Nasser City 
Authority in West Assiut, and Dr. Hammad Mustafa Azab, Emeritus Professor in the Commercial 
Law Department. And Dr. Ragab Muhammad Al-Sayyed, the college’s dean for education 
and student affairs.

The Faculty of Law participates in all the universities of the 50th Comprehensive 
University of the Glorious October Victory.

Under the patronage of Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of Assiut University; 
Mr. Prof. shared Dwaib Hussein Saber, Dean of the Faculty of Law, Assiut University, 
Legal Advisor to the President of the University, and Mr. Prof. Rajab Muhammad Al-Sayed 
Al-Kahlawi, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Law for Education and Student Affairs, attended 
Assiut University’s celebrations of the 51st anniversary of the Great October Victory, 
where a major educational symposium was held within the framework of the October Victory 
celebrations. Major General Dr. Muhammad Al-Ghobari, former Director of the National 
Defense College, presented during the symposium.

Titled: “Strategic War Planning and Strategic Defense.”
