في ضوء حرص مستشفيات جامعة أسيوط على تقديم أفضل الخدمات العلاجية لمرضى صعيد مصر، شهد مستشفى الأمراض العصبية والنفسية وجراحة المخ والأعصاب افتتاح عيادة الدعم النفسي لمرضى الأورام، تحت رعاية الدكتور أحمد المنشاوي رئيس جامعة أسيوط، والدكتور علاء عطية عميد كلية الطب ورئيس مجلس إدارة المستشفيات الجامعية، والدكتور محمد عبد الباسط خلاف مدير مستشفى الأمراض العصبية والنفسية وجراحة المخ والأعصاب، والدكتور خالد البيه رئيس قسم الأمراض العصبية والنفسية ورئيس وحده الطب النفسي.

تساهم عيادة الدعم النفسي لمرضى الأورام، في مساعدتهم على تجاوز هذه المرحلة الحرجة، من خلال إجراء جلسات العلاج النفسي، لتجاوز الآثار النفسية المترتبة على جلسات الكيماوي، وتشخيص المشاكل النفسية المتعلقة به، مثل القلق والاكتئاب، وعلاجها.

جدير بالذكر أن العيادة ستقدم خدماتها للمرضى في الثلاثاء من كل أسبوع.

Opening of a psychological support clinic for oncology patients at the Neuropsychiatric and Neurosurgery Hospital at Assiut University

In light of Assiut University Hospitals’ keenness to provide the best therapeutic services to patients in Upper Egypt, the Neuropsychiatric and Neurosurgery Hospital witnessed the opening of the Psychological Support Clinic for oncology patients, under the patronage of Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, President of Assiut University, and Dr. Alaa Attia, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of University Hospitals. Dr. Muhammad Abdel Basit Khallaf, Director of the Hospital for Neurological, Psychiatric and Neurosurgery, and Dr.

Khaled Al-Bayeh, Head of the Department of Neurological and Psychiatric Diseases and Head of the Psychiatry Unit.

The Psychological Support Clinic for oncology patients contributes to helping them overcome this critical stage, by conducting psychotherapy sessions, to overcome the psychological effects resulting from chemotherapy sessions, and diagnosing and treating psychological problems related to it, such as anxiety and depression.

It is worth noting that the clinic will provide its services to patients on Tuesday of every week.

The opening witnessed the presence of Dr. Rushdi Al-Khayyat, Emeritus Professor of Neurosurgery, and Dr. Khaled Abdel Aziz, Director of the Main University Hospital.

نظمت وحدة التعليم المستمر للتمريض بمستشفى الأمراض العصبية والنفسية وجراحة المخ والأعصاب بالتعاون مع إدارة التدريب الفني وتطوير التمريض لأول مرة بالمستشفيات الجامعية لقاء تثقيفي عن دور التمريض ومعاونيه في القطاع الصحي في تعزيز الدعم النفسي للمرضى والمرافقين من الناحية النظرية إلى التطبيق العملي، تحت رعاية الدكتور أحمد المنشاوي رئيس الجامعة، والدكتور علاء عطية عميد كلية الطب ورئيس مجلس إدارة المستشفيات الجامعية، والدكتور محمد عبد الباسط خلاف مدير مستشفى الأمراض العصبية والنفسية وجراحة المخ والأعصاب، والدكتور خالد البيه نائب مدير المستشفى للشئون الطبية والعلاجية، والدكتور عبد الحكيم عبد الستار نائب مدير المستشفى للشئون الإدارية والجودة.

في البداية أشاد الدكتور محمد عبد الباسط خلاف بدور هيئة التمريض بمستشفى الأمراض العصبية والنفسية وجراحة المخ والأعصاب، موضحا بأنهم أحد الركائز الأساسية بالمنظومة الطبية، مشيرا أن هذا اللقاء يأتي في إطار حرص المستشفى على التثقيف الصحي لمختلف العاملين بها.

وأكد الدكتور خالد البيه أن هذا اللقاء يأتي ضمن سلسلة لقاءات يتم تنظيمها لتطوير هيئة التمريض، وأضاف أن التمريض أثناء عملهم يواجهون العديد من العقبات والتحديات، وهذا التدريب سيساهم في التعرف على كيفية مواجهة مثل هذه التحديات.

شهد اليوم عده محاضرات منها، محاضرة حول مهارات التواصل بين التمريض والمرضى والمرافقين للدكتور خالد البيه رئيس قسم الأمراض العصبية والنفسية ورئيس وحده الطب النفسي ونائب مدير المستشفى للشئون الطبية والعلاجية، ومحاضرة حول مصادر الضغوطات النفسية للمرضى والمرافقين ودور التمريض في التخفيف منها، للدكتورة هوايده خلف عبد العال استشاري مساعد تمريض الباطني والجراحي بإدارة التدريب الفني، ومحاضرة عن معاناة المرافق داخل المستشفى وسبل التخفيف منها، للأستاذة سناء مزيد مدير إدارة التدريب الفني، ومحاضرة عن دور تثقيف التمريض وموظفي الاستقبال بالمستشفى وكيفية استقبال المرضى، للدكتورة هناء رشاد زميل تمريض بإدارة التدريب.

جاء اللقاء من تنظيم الدكتورة هوايده خلف مقرر اليوم، والأستاذة خضرة سيد منسق اليوم، والأستاذة نجوى يونس مدير التمريض.

The Nursing Continuing Education Unit at the Neuropsychiatric and Neurosurgery Hospital, in cooperation with the Department of Technical Training and Nursing Development, is organizing an educational meeting on the role of nursing and its assistants in the health sector in enhancing psychological support for patients and companions from theory to practical application, on Wednesday, July 17, under the auspices of Dr. Ahmed Al-Minshawy, President of the University, Dr. Alaa Attia, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of University Hospitals, and Dr. Mohamed Abdel Basit Khallaf, Director of the Hospital for Neurological, Psychiatric and Neurosurgery, Dr. Khaled Al-Bayeh, Deputy Director of the Hospital for Medical and Therapeutic Affairs, and Dr. Abdel-Hakim Abdel-Sattar, Deputy Director of the Hospital for Administrative and Quality Affairs.

At the beginning, Dr. Muhammad Abdel Basset Khallaf praised the role of the nursing staff at the Hospital for Neurological, Psychiatric and Neurosurgery, explaining that they are one of the basic pillars of the medical system, noting that this meeting comes within the framework of the hospital’s keenness to provide health education to its various employees.

Dr. Khaled Al-Bayeh confirmed that this meeting comes within a series of meetings organized to develop the nursing staff. He added that nurses during their work face many obstacles and challenges, and this training will contribute to learning how to confront such challenges.

The day includes several lectures, including a lecture on communication skills between nurses, patients, and companions, by Dr. Khaled Al-Bayeh, Head of the Department of Neurological and Psychiatric Diseases, Head of the Psychiatry Unit, and Deputy Director of the Hospital for Medical and Therapeutic Affairs, and a lecture on the sources of psychological stress for patients and companions, and the role of nursing in alleviating them, by Dr. Howaida Khalaf Abd. Al-Al, Internal and Surgical Nursing Assistant Consultant at the Technical Training Department, and a lecture on the suffering of facilities inside the hospital and ways to alleviate them, by Ms. Sanaa Mazid, Director of the Technical Training Department,

استمرارا لعمليات التطوير والتجديد التي تشهدها مستشفيات جامعة أسيوط، أعلن مستشفى الأمراض العصبية والنفسية وجراحة المخ والأعصاب عن افتتاح قاعة المؤتمرات الكبرى بالمستشفى غدا، تحت رعاية الأستاذ الدكتور أحمد المنشاوي رئيس الجامعة، والأستاذ الدكتور علاء عطية عميد كلية الطب ورئيس مجلس إدارة المستشفيات الجامعية، والأستاذ الدكتور محمد عبد الباسط خلاف مدير المستشفى.

قاعة المؤتمرات الكبرى بمستشفى الأمراض العصبية والنفسية وجراحة المخ والأعصاب تم إنشائها على الطراز الحديث، ومزودة بأحدث الوسائل التكنولوجية المتقدمة.

ومن المقرر أن تستوعب القاعة أكثر من ٨٠ شخص، ومزودة ب ٣ شاشات تفاعلية على أعلى مستوى، بتكلفة وصلت إلى مليون و٦٠٠ ألف جنيه، كما تم تطوير وتجديد عدد من قاعات التدريس بالمستشفى.

يأتي هذا ضمن خطة مستشفيات جامعة أسيوط في تحديث منظومتها الطبية.

وعلى هامش الافتتاح سيتم تكريم المديرين السابقين للمستشفى تقديرا لما بذلوه من جهود خلال فترة توليهم إدارة المستشفى، حيث سيتم تكريم الأستاذ الدكتور عصام درويش، والأستاذة الدكتورة إيمان خضر، والأستاذ الدكتور علاء درويش.

In continuation of the development and renewal processes taking place at Assiut University Hospitals, the Hospital for Neurological, Psychiatric and Neurosurgery announced the opening of the hospital’s large conference hall tomorrow, under the patronage of Professor Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, President of the University, Professor Dr. Alaa Attia, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of University Hospitals, and Professor Dr. Mohamed Abdel Basset Khallaf, hospital director.

The large conference hall of the Hospital for Neurological, Psychiatric and Neurosurgery was created in a modern style, equipped with the latest advanced technological means.

The hall is scheduled to accommodate more than 80 people, and is equipped with 3 interactive screens at the highest level, The teaching halls have also been renovated at a cost of one and

شهد مستشفى الأمراض العصبية والنفسية وجراحة المخ والأعصاب افتتاح قاعة المؤتمرات الكبرى بالمستشفى، وتجديد وتطوير عدد من قاعات التدريس، تحت رعاية الأستاذ الدكتور أحمد المنشاوي رئيس الجامعة، والأستاذ الدكتور علاء عطية عميد كلية الطب ورئيس مجلس إدارة المستشفيات الجامعية، والأستاذ الدكتور محمد عبد الباسط خلاف مدير المستشفى.

وخلال الافتتاح، أشاد الأستاذ الدكتور أحمد المنشاوي بمستوى الخدمات الطبية والعلاجية والتعليمية المقدمة بمستشفى الأمراض العصبية والنفسية وجراحة المخ والأعصاب، مشيرا أن افتتاح هذه القاعة يأتي في إطار الحرص المستمر على توفير بيئة تعليمية متكاملة من خلال مواكبة كل ما هو جديد من وسائل تعليمية متقدمة، لتحقيق أعلى معدلات الاستفاده العلمية للأطباء داخلها.

في إطار حرص مستشفيات جامعة أسيوط على تطوير منظومتها الطبية والعلاجية ومواكبة كل ما هو جديد، نظم قسم الأمراض العصبية والنفسية ورشة عمل حول الحديث في علاج التيبس العضلي باستخدام عقار البوتوكس، تحت رعاية الأستاذ الدكتور أحمد المنشاوي رئيس الجامعة، و الأستاذ الدكتور علاء عطية عميد كلية الطب ورئيس مجلس إدارة المستشفيات الجامعية، وبحضور الأستاذ الدكتور محمد عبد الرحمن وكيل كلية الطب لشئون التعليم والطلاب، والأستاذ الدكتور خالد البيه رئيس قسم الأمراض العصبية والنفسية، وبتنظيم وإشراف من الأستاذ الدكتور طارق راجح رئيس وحدة الأمراض العصبية، والأستاذ الدكتور أنور محمد علي أستاذ الأمراض العصبية ومقرر الندوة.

تضمنت الورشة الحديث عن أبرز طرق علاج التيبس العضلي عن طريق الحقن باستخدام عقار البوتوكس، ومفهوم التيبس العضلي، وخيارات العلاج المتاحة والحديثة، وكذلك التصوير بالأشعة التليفزيونية لعضلات الجسم والأعصاب.

كما شهدت الورشة تطبيق عملي بوحدة فسيولوجيا الأعصاب لتدريب الأطباء المقيمين والمدرسين المساعدين بالقسم.

شارك في الورشة نخبة من أساتذة الأمراض العصبية بكلية الطب جامعة أسيوط ومستشفيات وزارة الصحة وجامعة المنيا وجامعة سوهاج.

Within the framework of Assiut University Hospitals’ keenness to develop its medical and therapeutic system and keep pace with everything new, the Department of Neurological and Psychiatric Diseases organized a workshop on modern treatment of muscle stiffness using the drug Botox, Under the patronage of Professor. Ahmed Al-Minshawy, President of the University, Professor. Alaa Attia, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of University Hospitals, Professor. Muhammad Abdel Rahman, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Education and Student Affairs, and Professor. Khaled Al-Bayeh, Head of the Department of Neurological and Psychiatric Diseases, and with the organization and supervision of Professor. Tarek Rageh, Head of the Neurological Diseases Unit, and Professor. Anwar Muhammad Ali, Professor of Neurological Diseases and symposium rapporteur.

The workshop included talking about the most prominent methods of treating muscle stiffness through injections using the drug Botox, the concept of muscle stiffness, available and modern treatment options, as well as television imaging of the body’s muscles and nerves.

The workshop also witnessed practical application in the Neurophysiology Unit to train resident doctors and assistant teachers in the department.

A group of neurology professors from the Faculty of Medicine, Assiut University, the Ministry of Health hospitals, Minya University, and Sohag University participated in the workshop.

استمرارا لمواكبة كل ما هو جديد في مجال الأمراض العصبية والنفسية، ينظم قسم الأمراض العصبية بجامعة أسيوط خلال الفترة من ١ إلى ٦ سبتمبر مؤتمره التاسع عشر حول "الأدلة والإرشادات الطبية في مجال الأمراض العصبية والنفسية بين الواقع والتطبيق"، وذلك تحت رعاية الأستاذ الدكتور أحمد المنشاوي رئيس الجامعة، والأستاذ الدكتور علاء عطية عميد كلية الطب ورئيس مجلس إدارة المستشفيات الجامعية، وتحت إشراف الأستاذ الدكتور خالد البيه رئيس قسم الأمراض العصبية والنفسية ورئيس المؤتمر، والأستاذ الدكتور محمد عبد الرحمن وكيل كلية الطب لشئون التعليم والطلاب وأستاذ الأمراض العصبية والنفسية ونائب رئيس المؤتمر، والأستاذ الدكتور طارق راجح رئيس وحدة الأمراض العصبية ونائب رئيس المؤتمر، والأستاذة الدكتورة غيداء شحاته، والأستاذ الدكتور ياسر السروجي مقرري المؤتمر.

يشهد المؤتمر الذي ستنطلق فعالياته يوم الثلاثاء الموافق ٣ سبتمبر بالمبني الإداري بجامعة أسيوط، الحديث عن كل ما هو جديد في مجال مرض السكتة الدماغية، والتصلب المتعدد، والصرع، واضطرابات الحركة، والصداع، وفسيولوجيا الأعصاب، كما سيتم تناول الجديد في أمراض العضلات والأعصاب الطرفية، والجديد في علاج التيبس العضلي.

جدير بالذكر، أنه سيتم تنظيم عده ورش عمل قبل بدء فعاليات المؤتمر في يومي ١ - ٢ سبتمبر، وستتناول هذه الورش الحديث عن السكتة الدماغية، وفسيولوجيا الأعصاب، واضطرابات الحركة، والتيبس العضلي، وطب أمراض النوم، والطب النفسي الشرعي.

وستستكمل أعمال المؤتمر والجلسات العلمية يومي ٥ - ٦ سبتمبر بالقاهرة، وسيشهد مشاركة نخبة من أساتذة الأمراض العصبية والنفسية من مختلف الجامعات المصرية.

The conference, whose activities will begin on Tuesday, September 3, in the administrative building at Assiut University, will witness talk about everything new in the field of stroke, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, movement disorders, headaches, and neurophysiology. New developments in muscle and peripheral nerve diseases will also be discussed. What's new in treating muscle stiffness.

It is worth noting that several workshops will be organized before the start of the conference activities on September 1-2, and these workshops will address stroke, neurophysiology, movement disorders, muscle stiffness, sleep medicine, and forensic psychiatry.

The conference and scientific sessions will continue on September 5-6 in Cairo, and will witness the participation of an elite group of neurological and psychiatric professors from various Egyptian universities.

ستقدم العيادة خدماتها للمرضى في الثلاثاء من كل أسبوع.

16 July ... Opening of the Psychological Support Clinic for Oncology Patients at the Neuropsychiatric and Neurosurgery Hospital at Assiut University

The Hospital for Neurological, Psychiatric and Neurosurgery at Assiut University announced the opening of the Psychological Support Clinic for Oncology Patients on Tuesday, July 16, under the patronage of Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, President of the University, Dr. Alaa Attia, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of University Hospitals, and Dr. Mohamed Abdel Basset. Khalaf, Director of the Neuropsychiatric and Neurosurgery Hospital, and Dr. Khaled Al-Bayeh, Head of the Department of Neurological and Psychiatric Diseases, Head of the Psychiatry Unit.

The clinic will provide its services to patients on Tuesday of every week.

These medical services come within the framework of Assiut University Hospitals’ keenness to provide the best therapeutic services to patients in Upper Egypt.

في إطار حرص مستشفيات جامعة أسيوط على تطوير منظومتها الإدارية نظمت وحدة الجودة بمستشفى الأمراض العصبية والنفسية وجراحة المخ والأعصاب اجتماع مراجعة الإدارة السنوي للمستشفى لعام ٢٠٢٤م، تحت رعاية الدكتور أحمد المنشاوى رئيس الجامعة، والدكتور الدكتور علاء عطية عميد كلية طب ورئيس مجلس إدارة المستشفيات الجامعية، والدكتور محمد عبدالباسط خلاف مدير المستشفى، وتحت إشراف الدكتور خالد البيه نائب مدير المستشفى للشئون الطبية و العلاجية، والدكتور عبدالحكيم عبدالستار نائب مدير المستشفى للشئون الإدارية والجودة مدير إدارة الجودة ونائب مدير المستشفى للشئون الإدارية والجودة، والدكتور فراج محمد فراج نائب مدير وحدة الجودة.

تضمن الاجتماع مراجعة أداء العمل بالمستشفى و الإدارات، حيث قام كل مدير إدارة بعرض تقرير مفصل عن أعمال الإدارة وما تم من التغيرات الداخلية والخارجية بالإدارة، ومدى تحقيق أهداف الجودة، ورضا العاملين، كما تم الوقوف على المخاطر والمعوقات التي تم مواجهتها من قبل الإدارة وكيفية الحد منها.

وتضمن الاجتماع عده مخرجات هامة منها، تفعيل لجنه المرضى والوفيات، وتفعيل لجنة حقوق المرضى، ورفع نسبة الاستجابة لتوصيات الصيدلي الإكلينيكي، وتوفير مكان لوحدة التموين الطبي وصيدله التعاقدات، واستكمال تدريب ٢٥٪ من العاملين على أعمال الدفاع المدني، كذلك إنشاء إذاعة داخلية بالمستشفى تعمل على توعية العاملين، وعمل بيان بأعداد العاملين بجميع أقسام المستشفى لتحديد الأماكن التى بها عجز بالعمالة، كذلك الإعلان عن فتح قسم المعاشات بالمستشفى، كما تم مناقشة نتائج استبيانات رضا المرضى والتي أوضحت أن نسبة الرضا للعيادات الخارجية ٨٤٪ ونسبة رضا المرضى عن الأقسام الداخلية ٧٥.٥٪،

وبمتابعة نتائج المراقبة والقياس تبين قلة نسبة الوفيات بقسمى الأمراض العصبية وجراحة المخ و الأعصاب بمعدل ٢٪ عن العام الماضي وزيادة نسبة العمليات عن العام الماضي لقسمى الخاص والمجانى بالمستشفى حيث كان عدد العمليات بالقسم الخاص إلى ١٢٥٣ عملية، والمجاني إلى ٦٣٢ عملية، و زيادة أعداد مرضى الدخول للقسم المجانى إلى (٧٣١٩) حالة، والمترددين على العيادات إلى(١٣٨٧٢) حالة.

Assiut University Hospitals Neurological, Psychiatric and Neurosurgery Hospital Holds Annual Management Review Meeting

In line with Assiut University Hospitals' keenness to develop its administrative system, the Quality Unit at the Neurological, Psychiatric and Neurosurgery Hospital organized the hospital's annual management review meeting for the year 2024 under the auspices of Dr. Ahmed Al-Minshawy, President of the University, Dr. Alaa Attia, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of University Hospitals, Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Basset khallaf, Director of the Hospital, and under the supervision of Dr. Khaled El-Bih, Vice Director of the Hospital for Medical and Treatment Affairs, Dr. Abdel Hakim Abdel Sattar Vice Director of the Hospital for Administrative and Quality Affairs, Director of the Quality Department and Vice Director of the Hospital for Administrative and Quality Affairs, and Dr. Farag Mohamed Farag, Deputy Director of the Quality Unit.

The meeting included a review of the hospital's and departments' performance, where each department manager presented a detailed report on the department's work and the internal and external changes that have taken place in the department, and the extent to which quality objectives and employee satisfaction have been achieved. The meeting also addressed the risks and obstacles faced by the management and how to mitigate them.

The meeting included a number of important outcomes, including:

Activating the Patient and Deaths Committee.

Activating the Patients' Rights Committee.

Raising the response rate to the recommendations of the clinical pharmacist.

Providing a place for the medical supplies unit and the contracted pharmacy.

Completing the training of 25% of workers on civil defense work.

Establishing an internal radio station in the hospital to raise awareness among workers.

Issuing a statement on the number of workers in all departments of the hospital to identify areas with a shortage of workers.

Announcing the opening of the pensions

department in the hospital.

The results of the patient satisfaction surveys were also discussed, which showed that the satisfaction rate for outpatient clinics was 84%, and the satisfaction rate for inpatients was 75.5%.

Following up on the monitoring and measurement results, it was found that the death rate in the neurology and neurosurgery departments decreased by 2% compared to last year.

The number of surgeries increased compared to last year for both the private and free departments of the hospital, where the number of surgeries in the private department reached 1253 operations, and the free department reached 632 operations. The number of admissions to the free department increased to (7319) cases, and the number of visitors to the clinics to (13872) cases.
