A research team from the faculty of engineering under the supervision of professor Ahmed Hamza husseiny, mechanical engineering department, did a research about the effect of temperature on photovolt units scientifically and theoretically. These photovolt units are electronic solar cells that convert light energy to electric energy that can be usable.The research team Has tested the effects of atmosphereic conditions on the efficiency of solar cells in assiut because of its high temperature.

The re-sit exams for postgradute students will be held on Sunday  31-8-2014. Students must go to the for Graduate Studies & Research office to get his timetable.

The dean of the faculty professor/ Muhammad Abo El-Kasem and the whole faculty stuff would like to congratulate Muhammad Adel Abd El-Hamid, student at the faculty of engineering,for being awarded the first place in the 16th Arab Council for Training Students of Arab Universities (ACTSAU) which was held at Tanta University during(7-11)September 2014. The winning paper was under the supervision of professor/ Osama Sayed Muhammad, the vice dean for graduate studies and research.
