Under the approval of His Excellency Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, for the implementation of the second edition of the "Beginning of a Dream" competition in the field of community initiatives, which has received the gracious patronage of the First Lady of the Republic for the current year 2024/2025, and under the auspices of His Excellency Prof./ Ahmed El-Minshawy (University President) and His Excellency Prof./ Ahmed Abdel-Mawla (Vice President for Education and Student Affairs), the competition is announced with the following conditions:

• The team consists of 2-5 members.

·  The age range is from 18 to 40 years old.

·  One of the team members plays the role of a coach/mentor.

·  Each team should include both females and males, if possible.

·  The initiator of the idea or the team members are not allowed to enter or register in more than one initiative.

·  Those who participated in the first edition are only allowed to participate with a new idea or initiative.

·  Participating with the same idea or initiative, or an initiative that has won in other competitions, is not allowed.

·  The initiative must have a community impact and be linked to one of the goals of Egypt's Vision 2030.

·  The winning works of the participants will be escalated for judging by a committee of senior specialists, and those deemed suitable will be escalated to the final stages.

·  The most important initiatives and ideas will be escalated to attend the training camp in preparation for the final judging.

·  Registration for the competition will continue through the link from January 1, 2025, to March 1, 2025.

·  The evaluation criteria for the competition must be taken into account in the case of initiatives or ideas.

The new schedule for first year students.

Dr. Muhammad Esam Aref will deliver a lecture entitled "Orthodontic Problems in Children" at the Faculty of Dentistry's Third Scientific Day for Nursing Staff and Healthcare Providers. The event, will be organized by the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector, on Sunday, January 5, 2025, at 8:00 a.m. in the Postgraduate Studies Hall.

It has recently come to our attention that some students have reported instances of fraud perpetrated by individuals and groups on social media platforms. These scams involve requests for financial payments or transfers via Vodafone Cash in exchange for purported completion of the Military Education course.

Therefore, all students are hereby instructed to conduct all matters related to Military Education courses exclusively with the Military Education Administration within the university. The Military Education Administration bears no responsibility for any fraudulent activities encountered by students, whether through social media or via telephone.

Furthermore, it has been brought to the attention of the university's Military Education officials that an individual named "Islam," using mobile number 01028448805, has been contacting students.

When registering for Military Education courses, students are required to personally visit the administration with their valid National ID card and Faculty ID card for registration purposes.
