The European partner represents great importance to Egypt, as the European Union has become Egypt's first trading partner in imports and exports, and Egypt enjoys strong political relations with the European Union countries, especially in light of the challenges that Egypt faces due to the current tense conditions in the Middle East region, as well as the urgent need for European support for the program. The economic reform adopted by the Egyptian government.

Institutional cooperation between Egypt and the European Union has achieved clear success since the signing of the Egyptian-European participation agreement in 2001 and the subsequent package of programs and joint cooperation projects that are consistent with the priorities of Egypt’s comprehensive sustainable development strategy.

The European Union model introduces students to the European Union and European culture in general, and it also helps students participating in it acquire new skills, such as communication with others, negotiation, dialogue, persuading the other party or parties, as well as tolerance, acceptance of others, crisis management, and leadership. In addition to spreading the culture of participation in the hearts of students, studying existing crises, and following sound scientific methods to find solutions to them, which can help create young, qualified and trained cadres, based on actual experiences in local, regional and international affairs.

The administration of the College of Commerce allowed students from various specializations from most colleges at the university to participate in the model, and specialized faculty members participated in training the students and introducing them to the working mechanisms of the European Union. The students’ performance was outstanding, as witnessed by many Egyptian and European diplomats and media professionals who attended the ceremony. The final model of the model in its successive seasons.

Professor Dr. Muhammad Al-Adawi, “Dean of the College for Education and Student Affairs,” noted that

The College of Commerce is sponsoring the European Union simulation model over the course of ten seasons, which has produced conscious student leaders. Their presence in the model has brought tremendous experience that has benefited them on the scientific and practical levels. This was the beginning of offering programs for student academic opportunities in cooperation with the Embassy of the European Union.
