The Faculty of Arts in a distinguished participation in the closing proceedings of the celebration of Assiut University and our green future
 
Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Minshawi, Acting President of Assiut University and Prof. Dr. Maha Ghanem, Vice President for Environmental Affairs and Community Service, and Dr. Magdy Alwan, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, the Faculty of Arts participated in the proceedings of the closing ceremony of the celebration of "Assiut University and our Green Future" by presenting environmental activities, which included in its entirety exhibits dealing with various environmental challenges, especially climate change and the problems it causes to the environment, how to confront them, fight pollution, and ways to preserve natural resources for future generations, through posters for student research and distinguished artworks for several departments at the Faculty of Arts and on They are headed by the Department of Archeology, the Department of Geography and the Department of Media.
It is worth mentioning that the "Assiut University and Our Green Future Celebration", which was organized by the Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs Sector and in coordination with the Education and Student Affairs Sector throughout the month of November, which witnessed the presence of Eng. Amr Abdel Aal, Deputy Governor of Assiut, and Dr. Maha Ghanem, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development and General Supervisor of the celebration organization, And Dr. Ahmed Abdel Mawla, Acting Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and from the Faculty of Arts, Dr. Hamed Mashhour, Vice Dean for Environmental Affairs and Community Service, and Dr. Sameh Al-Banna, Head of the Department of Archeology, with the participation of a group of deans, agents and faculty members from various faculties of the university and administrative leaders, as well as a number of students of various faculties in various teams.
Prof. Dr. Magdy Alwan, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, extended his sincere thanks and appreciation to the organizing team of the exhibition, headed by Dr. Hamed Mashhour, Vice Dean for Environmental Affairs and Community Service, Dr. Sameh Al-Banna, Head of the Department of Archeology, Dr. Rehab Al-Dakhli, Acting Head of the Media Department, Dr. Mona Al-Sawy, Teacher in the Department of Archeology, Dr. Hend Hassanein Ahmed, Lecturer of Electronic Journalism in the Department of Media and Media Coordinator of the Faculty of Arts, Ms. Radwa Abdo, Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Media, and Mr. Ahmed Hassan Al-Mu'aid, Department of Media and his sons. Assiut University held the third folk and performing arts festival for all faculties, and the Faculty of Arts won second place, and the faculty obtained several other centers as follows:
Best First Center Design Award for Mr. Islam Mustafa, Best Second Trainer for Mr. Hossam El-Din Hassan, Best Second Center Performer Noha Ashraf.
