As part of Assiut University's commitment to enhancing the physical and mental health of its students and fostering healthy lifestyle habits among them, and under the patronage of Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawy, University President, Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Mohy, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Magdy Alwan, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, and Dr. Mohamed Abu Rehab, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, the Faculty of Arts actively participated in the 'Pulse of Your Life' initiative launched by the University's Physical Fitness Department. The initiative aims to improve students' physical fitness levels and encourage them to regularly engage in sports activities.

The initiative's activities witnessed remarkable participation from the students of the Faculty of Arts, under the supervision of Dr. Mohamed Sami El-Qadi, Advisor to the Sports Committee, and the College's Youth Welfare Department. A series of interactive activities were organized, including energizing exercises, awareness workshops on the importance of physical activity in improving academic performance and overall health, and simple nutritional tips suitable for students' lifestyles.

Dr. Magdy Alwan, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, confirmed that the college's participation in this initiative comes as an extension of its comprehensive vision, which is not limited to academic excellence alone but also includes building the student's character in all aspects, including health and physical well-being. He added: 'We believe that an outstanding student is one who combines a sound mind with a healthy body, and therefore we are keen to support any initiative that promotes this balance.' Student Waleed Mohamed Khalifa Ahmed, first-year student in the Surveying, Mapping, and Information Systems program, received a certificate of appreciation for his active participation in the sports training centers. The other participating students expressed their happiness with the initiative, confirming that it helped them realize the importance of exercising even during intensive study periods, and that they aspire to continue such activities regularly.
