Under the patronage of His Excellency Professor Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawy – President of Assiut University, and His Excellency Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdel Mawla – Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, a seminar titled "Activating the Role of the Academic Advisor" was held at the Faculty of Specific Education. The seminar was presented by Professor Dr. Yasmin El-Kahky – Dean of the Faculty, and Professor Dr. Doaa Abdel Mohsen – Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, with the participation of: Prof. Dr. Hala Salah El-Din – Head of the Department of Art Education, Prof. Dr. Montaser El-Qallaly Ahmed – Head of the Department of Music Education, Prof. Dr. Hend Mohamed Ali – Head of the Department of Home Economics, and Associate Prof. Dr. Saad Hassan Mohy El-Din – Supervisor of the Department of Educational Technology. The seminar was also attended by faculty members, academic advisors, assistant staff, the Director of Student Affairs, and student affairs specialists at the faculty. The seminar addressed the tasks of academic advising and mechanisms for activating its role in monitoring students and providing the necessary support and guidance in both academic and educational aspects, contributing to removing obstacles and ensuring achievement and excellence.
