الفن يعد أفضل طريقة للتعبير حيث عبر الإنسان عن نفسه من خلال الفنون المختلفة عبر التاريخ. والفن لغة رمزية تقوم على علامات غير منطوقة وتعبر عن معان عقلية بعيدة المدى، كطريقة أخرى للتواصل البشري. و الأقصر هى طيبة القديمة نبع العشق لكل محبى الحضارة و التاريخ ، وفيها تتلاقى جميع الحضارات من الفرعونية و الرومانية و القبطية و الاسلامية .ويتناول البحث بداية الاتصال مع الغرب و تأثر الفنانين الغربيين بالحضارة المصرية و نشأة مراسم اللأقصر منذ الستينات و أثرها على إبداع الفنانين المصريين، ورصد لـ ( ملتقي الأقصر الدولي للتصوير ) هذه الفعالية التي تؤكد على دور الفن التشكيلي في تدعيم العلاقات الثقافية والإنسانية بين شعوب العالم من خلال الفنانين الذين جاءوا من بلدان عديدة أوروبية وعربية ، بالإضافة إلى فنانين مصريين من أجيال وتيارات متنوعة ، و تحليل لأعمالهم الفنية للوقوف على مدى تأثير طبيعة المكان ومكوناته الحضارية و الحياة اليومية المعاصرة فيها . وأثر ذلك على طلاب كلية الفنون الجميلة بالأقصر، الذين سيتعلمون ويستفيدون من عمل الفنانين والالتقاء اليومي بهم ، ويتعرفون خلال ذلك على أفكارهم ورؤاهم الفنية والجمالية ، ويقتربون من ثقافات مختلفة تثري تجربتهم وخبراتهم الحياتية والعلمية و الفنية.
