It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Faculty of Social Work at Assiut University, this esteemed institution that places humanity at the heart of its mission and makes knowledge and action the path to building a more conscious and progressive society.

The student is the ultimate goal of the educational process. Preparing them to meet the demands of life and the challenges of the present and future is the highest aim our faculty strives to achieve. From this perspective, we are committed to producing graduates who possess in-depth theoretical knowledge, diverse practical experience, and positive values and behaviors, enabling them to utilize their abilities to build themselves and serve their community.

This is achieved through providing high-quality university education according to international standards, developing academic services, updating curricula to keep pace with labor market demands, and instilling a philosophy of self-directed learning, developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and fostering lifelong learning.

The faculty also places great importance on scientific research, recognizing its pivotal role in the advancement of societies.
