Word of the Vice President of the University

Assiut University is fully aware that the crises and challenges facing the nation cannot be overcome without science and scientists, as science is the strongest and fastest weapon for building nations. Accordingly, the Sector of Graduate Studies and Research at the University strives, with patriotism and dedication, to lead the engine of scientific and research work within the University in a manner based on creativity and innovation rather than traditional, routine practices. This effort is supported by the advanced scientific capabilities and distinguished human resources that Assiut University possesses across all fields—resources that require nothing more than the provision of an appropriate environment to enable them to work productively and effectively, along with the formulation of a clear strategy with well-defined features and steps to facilitate their work and prevent the loss of direction or waste of effort.

For this reason, the Sector of Graduate Studies and Research has been keen to issue a series of diverse publications aimed, in their entirety, at clarifying the University’s strategy for the current and upcoming periods, in light of its endeavors to develop work tools in each sector individually. All these efforts are unified in achieving Assiut University’s scientific and societal mission, and in fulfilling its responsibility to contribute to sustainable development by placing its advanced capabilities and rich history in the service of the nation, addressing its problems, and promoting its progress toward the ranks of advanced countries.

May the word of science remain elevated and sincere, and may Egypt’s esteemed scientists continue to carry the torch of knowledge, enlightenment, and progress for our beloved Egypt. Together, let us work to preserve our prestigious institution and our firmly established, distinguished standing among scientific institutions in the Arab world and abroad.

May God grant us all success and guide us to righteousness and good deeds.
