Faculty of Pharmacy Council (meeting number 629, held on 21/4/2016) approved the registration the doctoral thesis title of Pharmacist/ Shereen Ahmed Abdel-Reheem – Pharmacist in Pharmacy Services Center in the faculty - Registered to obtain the Doctoral Degree of Philosophy in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Analytical Pharmaceutical Chemistry). During its meeting number 629, held on 21/4/2016, the Faculty of Pharmacy Council approved extending the joint supervision mission for Pharmacist Mariam Fawzy Boshra (Assistant Lecturer, Department of Pharmaceutics, Faculty of Pharmacy, Assiut University) – a member of the joint supervision mission at Temple University in America (Internal with salary) – for a year from 7/3/2016, or until obtaining the PhD degree, whichever is earlier.

During its meeting number 629, held on 21/4/2016, the Faculty of Pharmacy Council approved extending the survival of the Pharmacist Nesma Mostafa Mohamed (Assistant Lecturer, Department of Pharmacognosy, Faculty of Pharmacy, Assiut University) a member of the joint supervision mission at the University of Mississippi in America for three months from 29/8/2016 till 28/11/2016.

During its meeting number 629, held on the 21/4/2016, the council of Faculty of Pharmacy recommended awarding the Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Pharmacognosy) to Pharmacist Ereny Mohsen Nasr after reviewing the reports of the viva examiners, the resolution by the council of Pharmacognosy Department, Faculty of Pharmacy, Assiut University, and the recommendation by the Faculty Graduate Studies Committee.

During its meeting number 629, held on the 21/4/2016, the council of Faculty of Pharmacy recommended awarding the Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Biochemistry) to Pharmacist Mohamed Mahrous Mohamed after reviewing the reports of the viva examiners, the resolution by the council of Biochemistry Department, Faculty of Medicine, Assiut University, and the recommendation by the Faculty Graduate Studies Committee.

During its meeting number 629, held on the 21/4/2016, the council of Faculty of Pharmacy recommended awarding the Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Pharmaceutical Analytical Chemistry) to Pharmacist Elmontaser bellah Hamed Ali Yousef after reviewing the reports of the viva examiners, the resolution by the council of Pharmaceutical Analytical Chemistry Department, Faculty of Pharmacy, Assiut University, and the recommendation by the Faculty Graduate Studies Committee.

Prof. Dr. Mahrous Osman Ahmed – Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Assiut University – invites faculty members and students to participate in the Annual Scientific Conference of the Faculty for the academic year 2015/2016, which will be held on Thursday 19/5/2016 at 12.00 O’clock in celebrations Hall building (B). The conference will discuss topics related to educational and research affairs in the light of the recommendations of the scientific conferences of the departments.
