The department of Industrial Pharmacy is involved in teaching, research, and service in all areas of Pharmaceutical Technology and Manufacturing, with emphasis on the following major, interrelated areas: Preformulation Studies Pharmaceutical Unit Operation Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) Pharmaceutical Validation Aseptic Processing Pharmaceutical Engineering and Materials Science Controlled-Release Drug Formulation Drug Targeting using Micro-/Nanoparticulate Carrier Systems
