Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, President of Assiut University Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Abdel Aleem, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Amr Mohamed Abdel Fattah, Dean of the Institute for Molecular Biology Research and Studies, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Heba Attia Yassi, Vice President of the Institute for Service Affairs. Society and Environmental Development, a workshop was launched entitled:
Definition of the requirements of the specification
ISO/IEC 17025:2017
Which was organized by the Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs Sector and the Institute’s Quality Assurance and Accreditation Unit, today, Thursday, 9/14/2023, in the Institute’s hall, in attendance: Prof. Asmaa Mohamed Zahran, Professor of Clinical Pathology at the South Egypt Cancer Institute.
Prof. Dr. Amr Mohamed Abdel Fattah, Dean of the Institute, stressed the keenness of the Institute’s management to provide technical support and develop the skills of workers in the Institute’s units. In a related context, Prof. Dr. Heba Attia Yassi, the Institute’s Undersecretary for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, confirmed that the workshop comes within the preparations of the Institute’s Molecular Biology Unit for the visit of the Laboratory Accreditation Committee from the National Accreditation Commission (IEC).
The workshop addressed several topics, including:
