Within the framework of continuous and constructive cooperation between the Institute of Molecular Biology Research and Studies at Assiut University and Al-Azhar University, and under the generous patronage of His Excellency Mr. Prof. Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of the University and under the patronage of Mr. Prof. Dr. Amr Mohamed Abdel Fattah, Dean of the Institute of Molecular Biology Research and Studies at Assiut University, Under the supervision of Mr. Prof. Dr. Alaa El-Din Hamed, Vice Dean of the Institute for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Dr. Asmaa Mohamed Zahran, Director of the Molecular Biology Research Unit at Assiut University, The Molecular Biology Research Unit received a number of students from Al-Azhar University on Thursday, 2/5/2024. The students were accompanied by Mr. Prof. Dr. Abdel Karim Sayed Hassan on a scientific visit to the laboratories of the Molecular Biology Research Unit with the aim of identifying the devices used within the unit’s laboratories. The unit's master chemists, accompanied by the institute's teaching assistants, explained and introduced the unit and its advanced capabilities and equipment that serve scientific and academic research. The visit aims to attract students and motivate them to join the Institute of Molecular Biology Research and Studies in the future, and learn about what is new in the field of molecular biology research.

At the end of the visit, a questionnaire was distributed to the students and some souvenir photos were taken.

As a result of the continuous support from the university administration and under the generous patronage of His Excellency Mr. Prof. Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, President of the University, Mr. Prof. Amr Mohamed Abdel Fattah, Dean of the Institute of Molecular Biology Research and Studies at Assiut University, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Alaa El-Din Hamed Sayed, Vice Dean of the Institute for Affairs Postgraduate studies and research, and Mrs. Prof. Dr. Asmaa Mohamed Zahran, Director of the Molecular Biology Research Unit, and in continuation of the success of the Molecular Biology Research and Studies Institute at Assiut University, The accreditation of the Molecular Biology Unit laboratories was renewed for the twelfth consecutive year by the National Accreditation Council (EGAC) after the success of the periodic follow-up visit that took place in the Molecular Biology Research Unit laboratories in the period from January 3-4, 2024. This is evidence of the continued efficiency of the human element, devices and infrastructure, and enhances confidence in the results of research and tests provided by the unit and the Institute of Molecular Biology Studies at Assiut University.
