Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Tarek El-Gammal, President of Assiut University, and Prof. Dr.Ahmed Al-Minshawy, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and in the presence of Prof. Dr. Asmaa Abdel Nasser Hussein, Dean of Institute, the activities of the workshop on "Enzyme Linked Immuno-Sorbent Assay (ELISA) Principals & Western blotting" were started at the institute. The workshop extends over a period of three days with the participation of a number of researchers from various faculties of the university and external. In the beginning, the Dean of the Institute gave an introductory lecture about the institute and the disciplines and departments it includes, which are followed by theoretical lectures.

Themain lecturer at the symposium was Prof. Dr. Asmaa Abdel Nasser Hussein, Dean of Molecular Biology Researches & Studies Institute - Assiut University, amid the presence and interaction of the faculty members, the assisting body and the college students.
