Preparation for the start of postgraduate exams at the Institute

Prof. Dr. Asmaa Abdel Nasser Hussein, Dean of Institute, Prof. Dr. Amr Mohamed Abdel-Fattah, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, Heads of Departments and the Secretary of Institute, made an inspection tour to prepare for the start of the postgraduate exams "Diploma - Master - PhD" on Sunday 6/9 /2020. The preparations are in conformity with the precautionary measures announced by the university administration to ensure the safety of students inside and outside the examination halls. In addition to the availability of comfort and safety for students during the exams by choosing well-ventilated halls with air conditioners or high ceiling fans. Taking into account, students spacing a distance of one and half or two meters in order to prevent the spread of the infection. Also, according to the instructions of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Minshawy, a main gate for student’s enter was existed with plenty of masks, disinfectants, sterilizers and thermal detectors in order to ensure students safety. In addition to placing seating numbers in plastic bags and providing hand sanitizers frequently.

Holding postgraduate examinations at the institute

Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Minshawy, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, toured to inspect the postgraduate examinations at the Molecular Biology Researches & Studies Institute, during which he was accompanied by Prof. Dr. Asmaa Abdel Nasser Hussein, Dean of Institute, and Prof. Dr. Amr Mohamed Abdel-Fattah, Vice Dean of Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Hamdi El Aref, Head of the Department of Molecular Biology, Prof. Dr. Bahaa El-Din Abdel Fattah, Head of the Department of Applied Biotechnology, and Eng. Rehab Ewida, Secretary of Institute. The exams are conducted for about 48 students with diplomas, masters and doctoral degrees in the fields of molecular biology, applied bioinformatics and biostatistics, and applied biotechnology.
