Many topics were discussed in the College Council in various sectors, whether in the 
education and students sector, in the graduate studies sector, or in various scientific 
departments.

Today, Saturday, August 26, a discussion of the doctoral dissertation of researcher 
Abdel Aziz Al-Rashidi was conducted under the title “Administrative and legal organization 
of the rights to vote and nominate in municipal elections, a comparative study between 
Egyptian and Kuwaiti law.” Discussion and governance committees were formed with 
Professor Dr. Tharwat Abdel-Al Ahmed, Professor of Public Law, as Chairman, 
and Professor Dr. Rajab Al-Kahlawi, Professor and Head of the Department of 
Public Law and Vice Dean of the Faculty of Law, Assiut University, is a member, 
and Professor Dr. Abdel Majeed Suleiman, Professor of Public Law, Faculty of Law, 
Beni Suef University, is a member. The researcher was awarded the degree of 
Doctor of Law with a very good grade.

 

Invitation to participate in a research competition

The Dean of the Faculty of Law and the Vice Deans invite the students of the Faculty of 
Bachelor’s and Postgraduate Studies to participate in the research competition within 
the celebrations of the golden jubilee of the glorious October War, wishing continued 
security and safety for our dear Egypt.

In the context of the continued influx of visits to extend congratulations to the Dean of 
the College, Dr. Dwaib Hussein Saber, Dean of the College of Law, received Counselor 
Ahmed Khalaf, President of the Military Court in Assiut, and Professor Younis Darwish, 
Director of the Al-Shorouk newspaper office in Assiut, in order to extend congratulations 
on the occasion of the issuance of the Republican decision appointing him as Dean 
of the College.
