The Dean of the College and the Vice Deans are on a tour to inspect the various departments of the College to determine the regularity of their work.

Today, Dr. Dwaib Hussein Saber, Dean of the College, Dr. Muammar Ratib, 
Vice Dean of the College for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, 
Dr. Rajab Al-Kahlawi, Vice Dean of the College for Education and Student Affairs, 
Dr. Muhammad Abdel Aleem, Director of the English Language Division, 
and Professor Imad Ramadan, Secretary of the College, visited the college. 
The various college departments to ensure the smooth progress of their work, 
and to extend congratulations on the advent of the holy month of Ramadan.

The College of Law hosts the regular meeting of the Council for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs.

 

Under the patronage of Dr. Ahmed Al-Minshawy, President of the University, and in 
the presence of Dr. Mahmoud Abdel Aleem, Vice President of the University for 
Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Dr. Dawib Hussein Saber, 
Dean of the College of Law, Dr. Muammar Rateeb, Vice President of the College for 
Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Dr. Rajab Al-Kahlawi, 
Vice President of the College for Education and Student Affairs, and Messrs. Vice 
deans of the university’s faculties for community service and environmental 
development affairs, the regular meeting of the council was held.
The meeting discussed the sector’s work mechanisms and the role assigned to it in 
serving its surrounding community. By increasing the space for activities and events 
that can work to advance and develop society, in addition to maximizing the benefit 
from awareness-raising activities and seminars in various fields, pointing to 
the importance of spreading awareness of the sustainable development goals and 
spreading sustainable practices within the university campus. In pursuit of 
achieving the national strategy and Egypt’s Vision 2030.

Note that the thesis judging committee consists of the following:

This will be on Wednesday, 3/6/2024, at ten in the morning, in the hall of 
Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim Abdel Qader, Faculty of Law, Assiut University.

The college organized a ceremony to honor Mrs. Howaida Muhammad Shawqi for her reaching the legal age of retirement, in appreciation of her efforts and giving during her work period.

reaching the legal age of retirement, in appreciation of her efforts and giving 
during her work period.
This came in the presence of Dr. Dweeb Hussein Saber, Dean of the College and Legal 
Advisor to the President of Assiut University, Dr. Rajab Al-Kahlawy, Vice Dean of 
the College for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Muammar Rateeb, Vice Dean of 
the College for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, faculty 
members, the College Secretary, department directors, and college employees.
Dr. Dwaib Saber praised the efforts of Mrs. Howaida, Director of the Graduate 
Studies Library, and her display of competence, seriousness, sincere effort, 
dedication to work, and assuming responsibility.
Dr. Muammar Ratib also indicated that the celebration comes within the framework of 
gratitude and praise for Mrs. Howaida’s good conduct and good morals, wishing her 
lady more progress, success and giving in her future life.
Dr. Rajab Al-Kahlawi thanked Mrs. Howaida for her efforts during her tenure as 
library director, and for the clear imprints she left on the administration’s 
progress and success, wishing her continued success and prosperity in her next life.
It is worth noting that Mrs. Howaida expressed her great happiness for honoring 
the Faculty of Law, Assiut University, wishing success and lasting progress for 
our prestigious college.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, Dr. Dwaib Hussein Saber, Dr. Rajab Al-Kahlawi, 
Dr. Muammar Ratib, the faculty members, and the college’s employees were presented 
with some souvenirs. Colleagues in the administration also honored her and took 
some souvenir photos.

The Center for Legal Studies at Assiut University launches a training course on 
drafting contracts, claims papers, and appeals.
Under the patronage of Dr. Ahmed Al-Minshawy, President of the University; The Center 
for Legal Studies for Community Service at the College of Law organized a training 
course entitled: Drafting contracts, statements of claims and appeals. This is within 
the framework of the university’s keenness to perform its societal role in spreading 
legal awareness.
Dr. Ahmed Al-Minshawy explained: The training course; It comes within the framework 
of the university’s keenness to provide participants with legal knowledge related to 
drafting contracts and filing lawsuits, stressing the importance of legal awareness in 
regulating relations between individuals in society. Which enables them to preserve 
their rights and give them a better understanding of practical life. Society becomes 
more disciplined, and the number of disputes and crimes decreases.
The President of Assiut University added that the training course comes; In response to 
the importance of drafting and reviewing contracts and legal agreements in our daily 
lives, and what the nature of the work of legal professionals requires; From drafting 
a number of legal works such as: contracts, legal agreements, and memorandums of 
understanding, and all of these works require; High skills in the arts, drafting 
principles, and commitment; This is to ensure that it does not deviate from the purpose 
for which it was prepared, and to prevent disputes related to the drafting process.
 
He witnessed the opening activities of the training course; Dr. Mahmoud Abdel Aleem, 
Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development 
Affairs, under the supervision of Dr. Dawib Hussein Saber, Dean of the College and Legal 
Advisor to the President of the University, Dr. Muammar Ratib Muhammad, Vice President 
of the College for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Professor 
Dr. Khaled Jamal, Professor and Head of the Department of Civil Law, and Dr. Othman Abdel 
Qader, Director. Center for Legal Studies, attended by a group of faculty members.
Dr. Mahmoud Abdel-Aleem emphasized the legacy of the Faculty of Law, the academic 
figures it possesses, and those who held the highest positions in various state 
institutions. The field of rights provides the main framework for state legislation. Of 
laws and regulations, stressing the importance of training courses in developing and 
qualifying trainees, and providing them with theoretical and practical legal knowledge 
in various branches of law, Developing mental skills, the ability to criticize and 
analyze, legal thinking, and the ability to deal with various legal and judicial 
applications, which in turn contributes to preparing distinguished cadres. He directed 
his advice to university students to benefit from these seminars and training courses, 
and spread the culture of love of science and learning. The state is progressing and 
developing its scholars. They are the builders of nations, and their distinguished 
youth are armed with education and knowledge.

Dwaib Hussein Saber pointed out that students and graduates of the Faculty of Law 
are the guardians of justice, calling on faculty members to participate in these 
training courses, especially those related to the law regulating Egyptian universities. 
So that they are aware of their duties and rights, stressing the necessity of preparing 
training courses on: the scientific research law and the regulations governing it, 
and explaining them, according to sound scientific and legal foundations, calling 
on his students to participate, express their opinions, help solve societal issues, 
and achieve the vision of State 2030; Through a legal vision based on innovation, 
creativity, and positive momentum for their community; With legal knowledge in 
various branches of law.
Dr. Muammar Ratib praised; The role of the Legal Studies Center at the College, 
and the importance of benefiting from the services provided by the Center to students, 
graduates, and researchers; To develop their skills and refine their abilities, 
pointing to the nature of the work of the Center for Legal Studies, which is one of 
the centers of a special nature, which specializes in holding training courses. 
To provide the best educational services to students, graduates, and researchers, 
to advance legal scientific research, and to solve societal legal problems, pointing out
Dr. Othman Abdel Qader explained: The center holds seminars, conferences, 
and workshops related to the community, and provides legal consultation services.
It is worth noting that, at the end of the training course, the trainee obtains 
a certificate accredited by the College’s Center for Legal Studies, and accredited 
by Assiut University, upon completion of the training course, which is held in a hall 
at the Faculty of Law.
