In the light of the starting of the second phase June 2017 - May 2018 within the framework of the completion of the Korean project between the Korean University and the Faculty of Engineering at Assiut University. This project aims to strengthen and support the educational and research process within the framework of cultural exchange between Assiut University and the University of Korean.

On Monday, 2-10-2017, at twelve o'clock noon, a welcoming ceremony for new students was held at Amphitheater (A) of the Faculty in the presence of Prof. Jamal Abu Zaid Abdul-Rahim, Acting Faculty’s Dean and the Faculty’s Vice-Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Osama Sayed Mohamed Sayed, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, Heads of Departments, and Faculty's Program Coordinators.
