Professor El-Minshawy Opens Art Exhibition of Fine Arts Graduates as Part of the Scientific Day “Assiut University Graduates… Yesterday’s Experiences Shape Tomorrow”

Professor Ahmed El-Minshawy, President of Assiut University, inaugurated the art exhibition of graduates of the Faculty of Fine Arts, held as part of the Scientific Day for Assiut University Graduates, organized by the International Academic Ranking Office in cooperation with the Faculty of Fine Arts, under the title: “Assiut University Graduates… Yesterday’s Experiences Shape Tomorrow.”
The event reflects the University’s commitment to supporting artistic creativity, strengthening ongoing communication with its alumni, and showcasing distinguished models across various fields.

The exhibition was held under the supervision of Professor Mohamed Helmy El-Hefnawy, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Rapporteur of the Scientific Day, and Dr. Sahar Boutros, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.

The opening ceremony was attended by a number of distinguished academic and professional guests, including Professor Ahmed Yehia Rashed, Professor of Architecture and President of the Civilization Rights Institute (CRI), USA; Dr. Ehab Mamdouh, Founder and President of Nexus Pharma Solutions LLC, USA; Professor Nasr El-Din Mohamed, Head of Urology and Robotic Surgery in Germany; Dr. Tarek El-Kholy, Director of the Medical Nanotechnology Research Unit at Delta University; and Mr. Adel El-Saadawy, Managing Director of Dar El-Tahrir for Printing and Publishing (Al-Gomhuria Newspaper).

Several Assiut University leaders also attended, including Professor Gamal Badr, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Professor Mohamed Adawi, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Dr. Omar Mamdouh Shaaban, Director of the International Academic Ranking Office; Dr. Amr Abu Fadan, Deputy Director of the Office; Professor Doueib Saber, Dean of the Faculty of Law and Legal Advisor to the University President; Dr. Rehab El-Dakhly, Media Advisor to the President; and Professor Mansour El-Mensy, Professor of Sculpture at the Faculty of Fine Arts.

Professor El-Minshawy praised the high level of artistic and creative works presented by the graduates of the Faculty of Fine Arts and postgraduate students across the various departments, including architecture, interior design, sculpture, painting, and graphic design. He emphasized that the exhibited works reflected a strong professional standard and demonstrated the academic knowledge and artistic expertise acquired throughout years of study.

He further noted that the exhibition represents an honorable model of the promising creative talents fostered by Assiut University, commending the rich artistic diversity of the displayed works, which collectively express deep artistic awareness and a contemporary creative vision that balances authenticity and modernity.

Professor El-Minshawy added that this diversity highlights the strength of the Faculty’s academic departments and their commitment to integrating theoretical and practical approaches, thereby preparing graduates capable of competing in local and international labor markets. He reaffirmed Assiut University’s full support for artistic and cultural activities that contribute to refining public taste and reinforcing the role of the arts as a vital pillar of comprehensive development and human capacity building.
