Under the patronage of Professor El-Minshawy, President of Assiut University, Mohamed Adawy received a delegation of representatives from information technology and training companies as part of efforts to explore avenues of cooperation and open new horizons for partnership in practical training fields, contributing to preparing university students for labor market requirements.
The delegation included Ayman Ayad, Director of the Information Technology Institute (ITI) in Assiut; Ahmed Rihan; Omar Maher; Mohamed El-Keky from Sutherland; and Rania Sabry, CEO of Trilogy.
The meeting discussed mechanisms for providing specialized training programs for university students, particularly in the fields of information technology, artificial intelligence, and digital services. These programs aim to enhance students’ practical skills and improve their readiness to engage in both local and international labor markets, within the framework of presenting preliminary visions for future cooperation.
In this context, Professor Ahmed El-Minshawy emphasized the university’s keenness to strengthen partnerships with institutions in the technology sector in order to prepare qualified graduates capable of competing effectively. He pointed out the university’s efforts to provide real training opportunities that keep pace with rapid developments in information technology and artificial intelligence.
For his part, Professor Mohamed Adawy welcomed the delegation and stressed Assiut University’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with leading institutions in a way that serves students’ interests and supports capacity building, within the framework of the university’s vision aimed at achieving quality and sustainability. He noted that the meeting came as an opportunity for networking and exchanging perspectives.
The meeting was attended by a number of academic leaders from Assiut University, including Atef El-Naqeeb, Director of the Russian Language Center; Noha Abdel Aziz Rizk, Director of the French Language Center; Mona Hassan Ahmed El-Sawy, Director of the German Language Center; and Sameh El-fonss, representing the English Language Center.
