Under the auspices of Professor Ahmed El-Minshawy, President of Assiut University, Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Adawi, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, held a meeting to discuss some topics related to the progress of work and the development of services at the Residence House in Cairo (Dokki - Kasr Al-Aini), on Thursday, April 23, at the headquarters of the General Administration of the University Office in Cairo, in the presence of Mr. Mohamed Amin Salama, Assistant Secretary of the University, Mr. Ibrahim Abdel Tawab, and the General Supervisor of the Residence House in Cairo.
The meeting aimed to follow up on the financial and administrative performance of the residence house, and to identify the most prominent actual needs for development, to achieve the optimal use of resources and contribute to improving the level of services provided. stressed the university's keenness to improve the level of services provided at the residence in Cairo, as it is one of the important facades of the university outside the campus, pointing out the importance of the optimal use of the available resources, and working to develop the infrastructure and equipment continuously, in a way that keeps pace with the needs of the visitors and reflects the cultural image of the university.
The President of the University added that the university administration spares no effort in supporting development plans and improving the work environment, in a way that contributes to providing decent and integrated services, stressing the importance of periodic follow-up of financial and administrative performance to ensure the achievement of the highest levels of efficiency and quality.
In this context, Professor Mohamed Ahmed Adawy explained that the university is proceeding according to a plan to develop the residence in Cairo (Dokki - Kasr Al-Aini), which includes supporting infrastructure and equipment, in addition to improving the work environment and updating the available capabilities, to ensure the provision of distinguished services efficiently and sustainably.
The meeting reviewed the financial position of the Dar Al-Iqama Fund in Cairo for the period from July 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026, in addition to discussing several development proposals, within the framework of working to raise the efficiency of the equipment and improve the level of services provided.
Professor Mohamed Ahmed also conducted an inspection tour inside the rooms of the residence house, to check on the level of equipment, follow up on the progress of work, and identify the needs of development on the ground.
The meeting was attended by: Mr. Walid Hosny, Director General of Accounts and Budget, Mr. Khaled Mohamed Sayed, Director of the Residence House in Dokki, Mr. Hisham Muharram Mohammed, Director of the Residence House in Kasr Al-Aini, and Mr. Ahmed Mohamed Awad, Secretary of the Session.
