The Artistic Committee of the Youth Welfare Administration and the Student Union of the Faculty of Dentistry are pleased to announce their participation in the Nagham Festival 2, which will be held from October 13 to 16, 2023. This festival is a prestigious opportunity to discover new talents in playing instruments, singing, Inshād, and Hymns. Each faculty will be limited to 10 participants. Under the auspices of Professor Safaa Marzouk Tohamy, Dean of the Faculty, Professor Mohamed Nahed Attia, Head of Assiut University Dental Hospital, met with the 2023 Interns on Thursday, October 19, to explain the unified regulations for compulsory training for dental interns in accordance with the ministerial decision of 2023. He then announced that the lists of interns had been distributed and that the process of onboarding had begun in preparation for the start of the training period on Wednesday, November 1, 2023. He concluded by thanking and appreciating the Medical Affairs Department for their hard work and dedication.

The Social Committee along with the students’ Union in the Faculty of Dentistry will organize day trips for the students to Cairo, Hurghada, and Wadi Al-Rayyan. The trip price includes transportation, breakfast, lunch, and the itinerary. For more information, please read the announcement.

The Infection Control Department at the University Dental Hospital has vaccinated all medical staff in all hospital departments with the flu vaccine as part of precautionary measures ahead of winter from 18 to 19 Oct. 2023.
