The completion of the fourth educational seminar organized by the Community Service Sector, which focused on the proper scientific steps for publishing research in international journals.

On Monday, April 20, the fourth educational seminar organized by the Community Service Sector was successfully concluded. The seminar focused on the proper scientific steps for publishing research in international journals under the title:

“Unlocking the Secrets of International Publication Success”

The seminar was delivered by Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abbas – Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Faculty of Medicine, Assiut University

It was attended by a distinguished group of department heads, faculty members, and teaching assistants at the faculty.

This seminar comes as part of a series of awareness and educational seminars organized by the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at the faculty, in accordance with the annual plan for the academic year 2025–2026. The aim is to enhance the efficiency of all staff members, including administrative and medical personnel at the faculty and hospital.

Sincere thanks, appreciation, and gratitude are extended to Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abbas for his valuable contributions to the faculty and his fruitful lectures on scientific research and international publication.

In celebration of World Oral Health Day, the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at the Faculty of Dentistry announces the completion of a medical convoy on Thursday, April 9, at the University Heart Hospital.

The fifth convoy was implemented within the framework of the Sector’s plan for the academic year 2025/2026, as part of the ongoing efforts to organize medical convoys to serve patients and staff at university hospitals, and in conjunction with the activities of World Oral Health Day.

The convoy received more than 195 patients, including heart patients and hospital staff. خلال the convoy, the following services were provided:

  • Medical examinations
  • Awareness and educational services
  • Free medication dispensing
  • Referral of more than 50 patients to the University Dental Hospital for free treatment
