In the sixth round of the competition, "the best environmentally friendly college".. Vice President of Assiut University visits the faculties of Commerce, Veterinary Medicine, and Pharmacy

As part of Assiut University's continuing efforts to promote the concepts of sustainable development, the University witnessed the launch of the sixth field round within the activities of the "best environmentally friendly college" competition, which is held under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of the University, and under the supervision of Dr. Mahmoud Abdul Alim, vice president for community service and environmental development, and in coordination with Dr. Mohammed Mustafa Hamad, General Coordinator of the competition, Dr. Amr said, executive coordinator, and Dr. Rehab Al-Dakhli, media coordinator.

The tour included a field visit by Dr. Mahmoud Abdel Alim to the faculties of Commerce, Veterinary Medicine, and Pharmacy, accompanied by members of the evaluation committee, to follow up on the implementation of environmental sustainability standards within the participating faculties.

Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy stressed that the organization of the competition comes in light of the University's strategic vision aimed at spreading a culture of environmental awareness, encouraging colleges to adopt responsible practices in resource management, and integrating the environmental dimension into educational programs and community activities, in line with the state's trends in supporting the Sustainable Development Goals.

At the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, the visiting delegation included Dr. Mohammed Abdul Basit, Dr. Awad Ibrahim Mohammed Sayed, Dr. Marianne Milad Mansour, Dr. Amr Hassan Abu fedan, and Dr. Amal Ali Mahmoud, and they were received by Dr. Madiha Darwish, dean of the Faculty, Dr. Mahmoud Rushdi, vice dean of the faculty for education and Student Affairs, Dr. Thabet Abdel Moneim, director of the quality assurance unit, Dr. hosnia sweifi Abdul Mohsen, director of the Center for extension education and external communication, in addition to the secretary of the faculty and several faculty members and their assistants and employees.
