Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, President of the University, and Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abd El-Mawla, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, the Board of Directors of the Compulsory Training Unit for Pharmacy Interns at the Faculty held a meeting.
The meeting was chaired by Prof. Dr. Gihan Nabil Fetih, Dean of the Faculty and Chairman of the Unit's Board of Directors, and Dr. Sahar Badr Hassan, Acting Head of the Clinical Pharmacy Department and Director of the Unit.
The meeting was attended by:
- Prof. Dr. Noha Nahedj Atia– Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development.
- Prof. Dr. Ahmed Safwat Aboraia – Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs.
- Dr. Randa Hafez – Representative of the Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA).
- Dr. Lourin Gamal Gobraeil – Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacognosy.
- Ms. Rasha Ali Zaghloul – Representative of the Faculty's Administrative Staff.
Key Discussion Points
The board discussed several items on the agenda, including:
- Completion of the Compulsory Training Year: Reviewing the finalization of the compulsory training for the academic year 2025/2026, noting that the final rotation concluded on Thursday, June 11, 2026.
- Training Course Outcomes: Reviewing the results of the Pharmacovigilance course, as well as the elective courses held at the faculty for both internal students and students from various other universities.
- Other Agenda Items: Addressing several other institutional and organizational topics.
