“Assiut Rights” continues its awareness seminars on the importance of participating in
the upcoming presidential elections, with two seminars at the College of Agriculture and
the College of Fine Arts.
Under the patronage of Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of Assiut University,
Dr. Dweeb Hussein Saber, Dean of the Faculty of Law, and Dr. Rajab Al-Kahlawy,
Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, the Faculty of Law organized, today, Monday,
December 4, two seminars for the Faculty of Agriculture and the Faculty of Fine Arts
within the series of seminars “For the sake of your country; “Be positive and participate
in the 2024 presidential elections,” within the framework of the Faculty of Law and
Assiut University’s keenness to educate students and encourage them to participate in
the presidential elections.
Dr. Rajab Muhammad Al-Kahlawi, professor and head of the Public Law Department at
the college, and the college’s dean for education and student affairs, Dr. Ahmed Suleiman
Abdel-Radi, assistant professor of public law, Dr. Mustafa Hassan Sanusi, teaching assistant
in the Department of Public Law, and Dr. Iyad Ahmed Abdel-Mawla, teaching assistant in
the Civil Law Department, lectured.
Dr. Rajab Al-Kahlawi stressed that the seminars aim to call for achieving national
alignment around our country in light of the current challenges, and to participate in
the electoral entitlement, which is a national and national duty that must be performed
to build the Egyptian state, and to emphasize support for the development path that
consolidates the principles of establishing the national state and achieves the goals of
Egypt Vision 2030, praising the efforts made in organizing this series of important
awareness seminars, to educate students and urge them to cast their votes in the upcoming
2024 presidential elections.
The seminars explained the importance of forming a full political awareness among students
of everything that is happening, and the necessity of them arming themselves with the weapon
of knowledge and awareness in the face of the challenges, crises, and conspiracies being
hatched against Egypt, in order to preserve it, and the importance of exercising their
political rights in choosing the president of their state, and participating in political
decision-making freely, and highlighted Presidential election procedures; Starting from
running for the presidency, knowing the voter’s electoral location and the possibility of
changing it, through presenting the chronological stages of these elections, starting from
the opening of the nomination window, until the announcement of the final result.
