Announcement of the opening of applications for the joint FAO/Hungarian Government scholarship program for the academic year 2026–2027

The Office of International Relations and Arab Universities at Assiut University announces the opening of applications for the joint scholarship program between the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and the Hungarian government for the 2026–2027 academic year. This announcement is based on a letter received from the Hungarian Embassy in Cairo and aims to support academic exchange opportunities and enhance international cooperation between educational institutions.

The scholarship program offers Master's degrees in several distinguished scientific disciplines, taught in English. These include a Master of Science in Agricultural Biotechnology at the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences – Szent István Campus in Gödöllő, a Master of Science in Animal Nutrition and Feed Safety Engineering at the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences – Kaposvár Campus in Kaposvár, and a Master of Science in Plant Protection at the University of Debrecen – Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences and Environmental Management in Debrecen.

The scholarship covers numerous benefits, including full tuition waiver for the duration of the program, provision of essential textbooks and study materials, student accommodation, living expenses, and health insurance, thus providing students with a comprehensive learning environment.
