This department provides theoretical inputs on different disciplines of biotechnology including biochemistry, genetics, microbiology, and bioinformatics necessary for application in the development of novel medicines and healthcare products. Courses taught through this department are designed taking into consideration the rapid advancements in the field of biotechnology and biopharmaceuticals.
