Under the auspices of Professor Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of Assiut University, the Board of Directors of the Conference Center and Guest House held its regular meeting, in order to follow up on the progress of work and discuss mechanisms for developing the services provided and upgrading their level, in the presence of Professor Mohamed Adawy, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Adel Mohamed Mahmoud, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Mr. Shawkat Saber, Secretary General of the University, and members of the Council.

Professor Ahmed El-Menshawy stressed that the university is working to develop the management system of the conference center and guest house according to an integrated vision that ensures good management and quality of operation, pointing out that the expansion of the use of electronic systems comes within the framework of enhancing the efficiency of performance and achieving the highest possible benefit from the available capabilities, in a way that supports the university's role in hosting various events and reflects its distinguished institutional image at the local and international levels.

Professor Mohamed Adawy explained that the meeting discussed a number of topics and decisions aimed at developing the services of the guest house and raising the efficiency of its management, including working on developing an electronic system for managing the services of the guest house, and completing a number of organizational and technical procedures, in a way that contributes to improving the level of performance and maximizing the use of available resources.

He added that through these measures, the university seeks to enhance the position of the conference center and the guest house as a distinguished cultural façade that reflects the academic and administrative development of Assiut University, and supports its ability to host various local and international events with high efficiency.

The meeting witnessed the attendance of: Dr. Tarek Kamal, Professor at the Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Mohamed Abdel Basit, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Mustafa Ahmed Abdel Wahab, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Sport Sciences for Community Service and Environmental Development, Eng. Ahmed El-Sherbiny, Director General of Headquarters Affairs, Mr. Mohamed Amin Salameh, Director General of Accounts, and Mr. Mahmoud Fawzy, Supervisor of Wedding Halls (A,  B) at the University, Mr. Ahmed Fathy, Supervisor of the Guest House, Mr. Mahmoud Khalifa, Supervisor of the Conference Department, Mr. Hassan Mahmoud Hassan, Director of the Designs Unit, Mr. Medhat Abdullah, Auditor of the Fund, and Mr. Emad Al-Deek, Accounts Officer at the General Directorate of Accounts.
