Conclusion of the Comprehensive Training Program for Healthcare Providers at the University Dental Hospital.
Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Ahmed El-Manshawi, President of the University; Prof. Dr. Mohamed Adawy, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Dr. Safaa Tohamy, Dean of the Faculty; and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Nahid Atia, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, the final lecture of the Integrated Training Program for healthcare providers at the University Dental Hospital was successfully concluded on Sunday, June 14, 2026.
The lecture, titled “Medical Emergencies on the Dental Chair: Recognition and Immediate Management,” was delivered by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Nahid Atia, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. It addressed common medical emergencies during dental treatment and the role of nursing staff in ensuring safe and effective management.
The program is part of the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector plan for the academic year 2025–2026, aiming to enhance staff competence through seminars, training courses, and workshops.
Special appreciation is extended to the Continuous Medical Education Unit for Nursing Staff at the hospital for their active role in organizing and coordinating the program, including Ms. Nemat Mahmoud, Nursing Administration Manager; Ms. Al-Husna Mohamed Ali, Deputy Nursing Director; and Ms. Riham Mahmoud, CME Supervisor for Nursing Staff.
